AMANTE – Elizabeth M. (Schild-Olin) Amante, age 75, passed in the comfort of her home with her children by her side on September 2nd.

Mom will be dearly missed by her children, Karen (Tony) Proscia, Pat (Miranda Foreback) Olin, Michael (Alicia) Olin, Beckie (Mike) Baird, Terri (Jim) Duthler, Shelly (Cullen) DeWolfe, Brian (Michelle) Amante, Rob (Claudia) Amante.

She was a wonderful MEMA to 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Amante, her parents and six siblings. Betty is survived by her sisters, Tootie and Susie and her brother, Bob; many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Betty opened her home and her heart to everyone. She was an avid bowler, loved playing cards and was a wonderful cook.

Join us in the celebration of Betty’s life on Saturday, September 10th for a memorial service at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 315 West Center Street, Hastings, Michigan.

Betty requested that any memorial donations be made to the Spectrum Health Hospice, 100 Michigan Street SE, GR, MI 49502.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
