I met Liz through her sister, Ellen, who I lived with at Well House Community. I liked Liz immediately. She has such a sparkle about her. We lived together through the holidays, different projects. She made friends with everyone and got them involved making decorations for the house and folks taking charge. She loved her children and grandchildren. One night she was on the phone with Guy who was on the road with his truck. Liz felt that he was having a heart attack. She kept on the phone with him to guide him to safety. He made it through.

It was so great to know Liz and be in community together.

I’m sorry that I couldn’t make it tomorrow. Would love to share with you!!

I met Liz at Well House. She was friendly, easy to get along with. When things turned nasty at Well House, Liz did not buy into it; she kept her positive sense of self. I appreciated that.

“Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” I pray that you will find peace and comfort in these words and that God will give you the strength and courage to go on.

“Because I feel that, in the Heavens above,
The angels, whispering to one another,
Can find, among their burning terms of love,
None so devotional as that of “Mother,”
Therefore by that dear name I long have called you- dear mother forever be in our hearts”—-Edgar Allan Poe
