Elijah W. Rankin Jr., age 74, of Detroit, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the V.A. Hospital in Detroit.

The son of Elijah & Tillie (Hudson) Rankin, he was born on November 11, 1938 in Detroit, MI.

Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
