I’m thankful to have precious memories of my favorite brothr-in-law, Earl Doolittle. He had a keen since of humor, an unforgetable laugh and loved to tease. Our family gathering will not be the same without him offering his hat to be used if a collection was needed to be taken up or for him to make a motion for a vote to be taken as to whether or not we should except into the family a person who wants to marry a family member. Life will not be the same without our “Earl” and our hearts are heavy with sadness due to his death but he is now free from his pain and suffering. It is up to the rest of us to help Betty and his children except what they can not change and go on with their lives just as he would want them to do.
