Donna Marie Mullin, age 71, of Amble, passed away Saturday morning, June 21, 2014 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of Arden & Frances (Budd) Rentsman, she was born on August 22, 1942 in Greenville. On August 5, 1961, at Smyrna Bible Church, she married Patrick Arnold Mullin and together they enjoyed almost 53 years of marriage. A hard working farm wife and mother, Donna enjoyed crocheting and word puzzles.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allen Mullin June 18, 1968; her father, Arden Rentsman on September 1, 2007; and her mother, Frances Aleene Rentsman on September 2, 2013.

Surviving are her husband, Patrick Mullin, Sr. of Amble; their children, Patrick Arnold Mullin, Jr. of Amble, and Kathern Aleene Alonso-Lima of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren, Charles Patrick Mullin, April Autumn Mullin, both of Flint, Christopher Michael Herrema, Tamara Aleene Herrema, both of Grand Rapids, and Karla Marie Alonso-Lima of Tampa, Florida; three great grandchildren, Charlee Mullin, Morgan Herrema, and Kayla Aleene Ann Oppenneer ; a sister, Ardeene & Charles Latham of Cedar Springs; a brother, Frederick & Suzann Rentsman of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rev. Kenneth Harger, retired pastor of Shiloh Community Church, will officiate and burial will follow at Spencer Mills Cemetery.
