Diana L. Jensen, age 67, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday evening, September 30, 2014 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The daughter of Alton M. & Frances J. (Murray) she was born on December 15, 1946 in Greenville.
Over the years she worked in a number of places including Ore-Ida Foods, Electrolux Home Products, and Tractor Supply Company (TSC), as well as operating Precious Pets dog grooming service. Diana enjoyed her home at Perch Lake and will long be remembered for her love of animals but it was in time spent with her grandchildren that brought her the most joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her step-father, Vernon Snider. Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff & Martha Moorhead of Sheridan, and Lynn & Rachael Jensen of Belding; a sister, Reita Miller of Sheridan; four grandchildren, Athena & Will Overton of Belding, Ariella & Steven Wells of Sheridan, and Caiden Jensen and Callie Jensen, both of Belding; three great grandchildren, Theron Wells, Annebelle Wells, and Juliet Overton; and two nephews.
Memorial services are at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, with the Rev. William Overton, pastor of the Family Life Center Church of God, officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Family Life Center Church of God and burial will take place privately in the family plot at South Sidney Cemetery. Envelopes for memorial contributions to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter are available at the funeral home.
