David George Green, age 72, formerly of Leroy, passed away on Monday, June 1st, 2015 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The son of Nickolas and Rachel (Kennedy) Green, he was born on September 5th, 1942 in Cadillac.
Dave loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with loved ones and family.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Patricia Green (Fisher); three children, Becky (Kevin) Becktell of Coral, MI; Kirk (Yvonne) Green of Anamoose, ND; Julie (T.J.) McAllister of Cadillac, MI; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a sister, Loretta Burton of Cadillac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Alex, Nick and Eugene, and his sister’s Josephine and Madeline.A memorial service will be held at noon on Sunday at the VFW Hall in Leroy with a luncheon to immediately follow.
