Danny Dallas "Dan" Nolf, age 67, of Gowen, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Spectrum Health-Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids.  The son of Lawrence & Helen (Morris) Nolf, he was born on February 3, 1952 in Cadillac.

On December 28, 1997, in Greenville, he married Melody (King) Hall and together they enjoyed nearly twenty-two years of marriage.  Dan retired from the former Electrolux Home Products plant in Greenville where he worked as a hi-lo driver.  He enjoyed participating at car shows with his 2005 Ford Mustang GT, especially at the Classic Car show on Thursday's and the Halfway Restaurant show on Tuesday's.  He had an ability to make people smile and laugh and nobody could outwit him…  especially his sons who remember "Dad knowing what we did before we did it".

He was preceded in death by his parents;  a sister, Donna Curtis;  and a brother, Bert Nolf.  Surviving are his wife, Melody Nolf of Gowen;  their children, Danny Lee & Rachel Nolf of Greenville, Charles "Chuck" Nolf of Grand Rapids, Keith Nolf of Port Richey, Florida, and Brian & Tiffanie Nolf of Gowen, Kimberley & Frank Lance of Fenwick, Julie & Greg Bellingar of Port Richey, Florida, and Larry & Jessica Hall of Edmore;  twenty-one grandchildren;  nine great-grandchildren;  two brothers, Van Nolf of Gilbralter, and Vic & Carol Nolf of Greenville;  three sisters, Gloria Huckleberry of Greenville, Judy & Gary Sturdavant of Edmore, and Mary Burton of Jenison;  and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honoring Dan's wishes, cremation will take place and remembrances will be held at a later date.  To send a message of sympathy to the family, sign Dan's online guest book, or to share a favorite memory, please visit:  Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville, (616) 754-5638.
