Daniel Falconer Rudd, 27, of Stanton, in victory, arrived at his heavenly home, to see his Lord and savior face to face on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at his home, after a three-year battle with sarcoma cancer.

Daniel was born Oct. 30, l983, the son of Sara Falconer, in Moses Lake, Wash.

When he was 18 months old, his mom married Harlow Rudd of Crystal, a U. S. Coast Guard serviceman stationed at Moses Lake, and Harlow became his Daddy. When Daniel was 3 years old, his Daddy received a medical discharge from the Coast Guard and they moved to Stanton. Daniel attended Lakeview Community Schools from kindergarten through high school graduation. Daniel was always faithful and active in his church, in singing, playing gui-tar and serving wherever he could. In the summer of 2001 he went on a months mission trip to Thailand.

Following graduation in 2002, he went to work in Atlanta, Ga. In early 2008, he noticed a lump just above his mouth. By April it was diagnosed as sarcoma cancer a very rare, aggressive tumor of the face. After months in the Ann Arbor University Cancer Hospital, then radiation, he returned to live and be cared for by his Dad. He had many rounds of chemo, surgeries and two very inva-sive surgeries, losing the whole left side of his face.

He led a vibrant life of faith in his God and a personal relationship with Jesus. Daniel loved his church, Greenville Community Church, where he attended when he was able. He was an amazing young man, giving God praise for his faithfulness, mercy and grace.

He is survived by his mother, Sara Southwell of Brooksville, Fla.; his dad, Harlow Rudd of Stanton; sister, Joslin Rudd of Stanton; grandmother, Mary Ellen Rudd of Crystal; grandparents, Gilbert and Margie Falconer of Moses Lake, Wash.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister and grandpa, Harold Rudd of Crystal.

A celebration of Daniels life and memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Greenville Community Church, 6596 Vining Road.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

My deepest sympathies at your loss of Danny. I attended Lakeview High School with him and he was a very good friend to me. He was there for me through tough times when no one else was. I will always miss him and he will be very missed by those who had the privlage of knowing him. I know that even if he is no longer here that he is in heaven and he is at peace.
