Mr. Clyde W. Henry, age 71, of Half Moon Lake, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 26, 2007 at his home. The son of Charles Clayton & Myrtle Mae (Morgan) Henry, he was born on June 7, 1936 in Battle Creek.


Clyde retired from PRAB Manufacturing in Kalamazoo where he worked as a foreman and manager, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. On June 18, 2005, in Greenville, he married Josephine K. Bissell.


He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles C. Henry Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Fay Bissell.


Surviving are his wife, Josephine Henry; a sister, Kathleen Karen Moats of Battle Creek; a special niece, Fulisa Renee’ Shepherd of Battle Creek; two special nephews, Larry Dean & Stephanie Moats of Kalamazoo, and Michael Duane Caffrey, Jr. of Battle Creek; three brothers-in-law, Harry & Donna Bissell, Booner & Geri Bissell, and Eugene & Charlotte Bissell; and many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.


Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Greenville, with Bro. Rodney Rackham, acting Bishop of the Greenville Ward, officiating.


Honoring Clyde’s wishes, cremation has taken place and final interment will be in Richland Township Cemetery, near Vestaburg. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints would be appreciated.
