Mrs. Charisse Renee Brown, age 46, of Greenville, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor. The daughter of Dean & Sheri (Eavey) Wright, she was born on March 10, 1961 in Lansing. A graduate of Belding High School, she married Richard M. Brown on May 15, 1989 in Stanton. Until poor health prevented her from working, she had been an assistant manager at the Greenville Wendys restaurant. She enjoyed bicycling and walking, as well as gardening, and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Richard M. Brown of Greenville; her step-children, Erica & Mark VandenHout of Lowell, and Adam Brown & Janette Weeks of Greenville; four grandchildren, Hunter, Garrett, and Seth VandenHout of Lowell, and Jusiah Vandenberg of Greenville; nine brothers and sisters, Koven & Bernice Wright, Valerie Wood, Valenda Wright, Tyrone Wright, Dean Wright, Darron Ray, Donielle Melchert, Theresa & Brion Brooks, and Shannda Ray; several nieces and nephews; and her B.F.F., Rhonda White and family.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 from the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, with the Rev. Jerry Jones, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.
