Catherine Florence Cochran Werther, age 72, of Newaygo, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods in Byron Center. 

The daughter of John & Catherine Alice (Dooley) Sam, she was born on January 16, 1945 in Gary, Indiana. Catherine was adopted and raised by Olaf Cochran.

Surviving are her children, Christina Fish Morehead, Summer Dawn Werther, and Todd; as well as sister, Nancy Hinton.
