Carmen passed to her deep sleep on February 15,2018. She is survived by her husband Humberto, they were married for 35 years. They had three daughters, Maritza, Jeneli, and Jasmine.

Her daughters were her ultimate love and joy. Also surviving is her dog Niko, she liked to spoil and cuddle. Carmen came from a large family. Carmen loved to shop. Often looking for another “percalito”. Some of her likes included getting her nails done, sleeping, listening to music, watching t.v. and spending time with her family. She was also very hospitable, she liked to invite people over and make them food and enjoy their company.

Carmen was sweet, loving and often put the needs of others before her own. Her positivity and caring personality made it that many found her comforting. Her positive attitude came from what she would say “it’s because I read my bible everyday”. She would quote Psalm 55:22 ‘Throw your burden on Jehovah, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to fall.’

Her faith in Jehovah is an example for us all. Her zeal for commenting in meetings was impressive. Her motivation for spreading and planting seeds of Jehovah’s name brought her happiness.

Carmen was loved by many and will be greatly missed. We know that with Jehovah’s promises of a paradise, we will see her beautiful and contagious smile again.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses,

‘Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life’

                     John 5:28-29a

Juan 5:28-29a
