Bruce Wayne Woodward, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by his girls on Saturday, May 18, 2019. He was born in Hart, Michigan on February 27, 1952, to the late Ervin Leon Woodward and Bonnie (Bryant) Burmeister. Bruce graduated from Hesperia High School with the class of 1970. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Brown in 1972. They left the area for a few years, but returned home to Hesperia to finish raising their three daughters.
Bruce was a licensed jeweler and watch repairman. He was a member of the Jaycees and a Big Brother in the Big Brother Big Sister program. Bruce also was a salesman at the Buyers Guide for twenty two years. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, some of which were music, his love for playing his guitar and many other instruments, campfires, and singing. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, two tracking, horseshoes, and long motorcycle rides. But most of all he loved spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He will forever be missed and in our hearts.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Woodward; daughters, Becky (Tom) Nadjkovic, Jodi (Russ Stapel) Romero, and Rachel (Jeremy Wilds) Woodward; 18 grandchildren, Emmaline, Baily, Masen, Lilah, Johnny, Zander, Alana, Rachel, Michael, Daniel, Hunter, Kaylee, Logan, Cash, Kolten, Ava, Curtis, and Fayth; 3 great-grandchildren, Paislee, Rowynn, and Reed; sister, Shirley (Woodward) Eitnear; and uncle, Norman (Oneta) Bryant.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Harold Burmeister; and brother, David (Sandra) Woodward.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Bruce’s home, at 4:00 p.m.

Nothing we can say that wil erase the sadness and pain you are feeling right now. We do share in your grief, during this very difficult time. We are comforted as we pray you are in knowing that Bruce, is now at peace, no more suffering and pain. As the song, We Can Only Imagine , what Bruce is seeing and feeling right now as he is reunited with all the loved ones that have gone on before, especially his mother Bonnie.Bruce will be missed. I am forever grateful that god chose this great man to father me. I have the fondest memories and a tremendous amount of gratitude for all he was able to teach me through life. He always do the best he could and I cherish every minute of everyday that I was given with my daddy. His legacy will live on forever.

Bruce was a very nice man and classmate. He was so talented. He is finally rid of his aching body and can move on to be a free spirit.
