Betty L. Mann, age 75, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The daughter of Neil H. & Pauline Charlotte (Patterson) Rasmussen, she was born on September 4, 1940 near Lincoln Lake and was a proud graduate of the Class of 1959 from Greenville High School.

On March 7, 1964, in Greenville, she married Frederick E. Mann and they raised two sons, enjoyed 52 years of marriage, and together owned and operated Fred's Auto Service in Northtown Greenville… with Betty as the office manager and Fred as the mechanic.

They also shared a passion for automobiles and participated in antique and classic car shows and parades throughout the area.  Betty enjoyed collecting antiques, Boyd's Bears, and carnival ware…  but spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter's, was her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Cathy Sue Mann in July 16, 1967;  a son, Frederick David Mann, on July 4, 2006;  and a sister, Marian L. Kenny on March 1, 2016.

Surviving are her husband, Fred Mann;  a son, Jerry & Pam Mann;  two granddaughters,  Kayla Mann and Skylar Mann, all of Greenville;  a brother, Bob & Mary Rasmussen of Grand Rapids;  a sister, Marie & Pete Hansen of Gowen;  a brother-in-law, Jim Kenny of Greenville;  and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at  Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville.  Private family committal services will be held at South Sidney Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Harger, retired pastor of Shiloh Community Church, officiating.

Always proud of her Danish heritage, Betty would have appreciated contributions in her memory to the Danish Cultural Center, 3515 Boyer Road, Greenville, MI 48838.  Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
