Barry Russell Vanderkooy, age 56, of Belding, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  

The son of Carolyn Ruth (Dearmin) & Richard Vanderkooy, he was born on March 9, 1963 in Flint.  Barry had most recently worked at Clarion Technologies in Greenville.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen M. Vanderkooy of Belding;  his mother, Carolyn Vanderkooy of Ada;  a daughter, Beth & Steve Pirlyzk of Wyoming;  three step-children, Tara & Chris Zang of Greenville, Gary Bellingar, and Joseph Bellingar, both of Sheridan;  four grandchildren;  two brothers, Richard & Marci Vanderkooy of Florida, and Daniel Vanderkooy of Ada;  and several nieces and nephews.
