Barbara N. Jorgensen, 81, of Gowen, formerly of Grand Rapids, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Barb enjoyed going to the casino, going out with family and friends for dinner, and long car rides – especially across the Mackinac Bridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Jorgensen; and son Brad. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jorgensen; son, Bruce & Teresa Jorgensen; grandchildren, Heather & Dave Carpenter, Angela & Brian Backing, Adam Jorgensen; and two great-grandsons, Chance Backing, and Lucas Carpenter.

A time of gathering will be held between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, 48838.

    My condolences to all the of the family and friends. Aunt Barb was a sweet and kind sole. Her and her children played a serious role in my child hood memories. Many shared and cherished memories. Until we meet again, I love you and please hug my mom for me.

    Grandma I love you so much! Thank you for everything you have done for me growing up. I told you everything you are my bestfriend! When things happen in my life I always called you first and told you, now I have hope you are looking down on me and watching and already know it happened..the last few days we spent together I will remember for the rest of my life. love you always and for ever! Your granddaughter
