Allan David Reimer, age 64, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. The son of Herbert Charles & Joyce Fay (Crain) Reimer, he was born on October 6, 1953 in Mount Clemens. On December 21, 1974, he married Jeanine Waldron, and together they enjoyed forty-three years of marriage.
For over 30 years he was employed with Spartan-Nash and was involved with everything from transportation to warehouse labor. A devoted husband and father, Al delighted most in time spent with his family. He enjoyed watching movies and sports with his son and traveling with his wife, Jeanine, to California to visit their son, Andy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Joyce Waldron; and a brother-in-law, Aaron Waldron.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanine; their son, Andy; a sister, Debra Neiman; a brother, Randy Reimer; his father-in-law, Edward Waldron; his brother and sister in laws, Melodee Plath, Alicia Waldron, Bruce & Tammy Waldron, Wendell & Mollie Waldron, Kris & Mark Clark, and Aileen Waldron; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation with the family is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at Faith Baptist Church, 315 S. Greenville West Drive, Greenville, where memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Reimer Family Benefit Account will be accepted at any Chemical Bank location.
