Mrs. Alice Marie Porter, age 87, of Muskegon, passed away Wednesday morning, July 26, 2006 at University Park Living Center, Muskegon. The daughter of Joseph & Libby I. (Fields) Boucher, she was born on July 17, 1919 in Muskegon. A homemaker most of her life, she was devoted wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Porter, Sr. in 1963. Surviving are a son, Melvin A. Porter; and a daughter, JoAnn Porter, both of Muskegon.

Memorial services are at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 4725 Russell Road, Muskegon. Honoring Alices wishes, cremation has already taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, Greenville.
