Alfred Eugene White, Sr., age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Fairplains Township.  The son of Melbert Carl & Viola Jean (Thacker) White, he was born on November 3, 1953 in Sheridan.  He had worked at Warner Fiberglass Products in Belding until becoming disabled.  In his younger years, he enjoyed working and racing cars and riding motorcycles.

Alfred was preceded in death by a son, Clifford White; his mother, Viola White in 1995;  a sister, Carolyn Yeomans in 2001;  his father, Melbert White, Sr. in 2002;  and by his step-mother, Rosemary Miller-White in 2012.

Surviving are his son, Alfred E. "Jake" White, Jr. & Amber Zander of Lakeview;  a  sister and three brothers, Jo Ann & Pat Riley, Duane & Linda White, Darwin White, and Melbert Jr. & Pam White.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Entrican Bible Church, 3899 Grow Road N.W., Stanton, with the Rev. Eugene Kooi officiating.  Instead of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
