Alexander (Sarge) Miller Jr., 64, of Plainwell, went to be in the arms of the Lord on August 18, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Al served in the United States Navy for 20 years as a Petty Officer 2-Mess Management Specialist as well as a member of American Legion Post 84-Otsego, Michigan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rosella (Fox) Miller; daughter Corina Munday of Plainwell, Mi; daughter Traci Hooper of Florida; “adopted” daughter Melissa Boniface of Delton, Michigan; “adopted” son Jonathan (Jennifer) Basinski of Hastings, Michigan; 7 grandchildren, several neices and nephews, countless friends and aquaintances, including life-long buddy Mike “Lucky” Young, of Arizona.

A Celebration of Life for Al will be held at Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell, Michigan at a future date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
