Yvette Marie Campbell Obituary (1955 - 2025)

Yvette Marie Campbell (Singleton), age 69, of St. Clair Shores, MI, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cervical cancer. She departed at her home in Belding, MI surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 19, 1955 in Detroit, MI to the late Irene Mary Singleton (DeMaire) and the late Francis Thomas Singleton. Yvette is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark Campbell; one daughter, Allison Campbell; two sons: Ryan Campbell (Taren) and Karl Campbell (Andrea); three grandchildren: Summer Garvie, Nora Campbell, and Cassian Campbell; one sister, Sandra Demers (John); one brother, Thomas Singleton (Christine); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Throughout her life, Yvette was known for her compassion and love for her family, as it was one of her major sources of happiness. Days were often filled talking with her family and checking in on their lives. She was known as a kindhearted, loving person who would always put her family first. In her spare time she could be found relaxing on her back porch, watching the birds and butterflies fly around her yard, most often with a cup of black coffee in hand. Yvette also loved to cross-stitch, lovingly making keepsakes for family members’ weddings and birthdays. As Yvette wished, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on March 8, 2025 in St. Clair Shores, MI. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held for her during the summertime.
