Victor Nodus

Victor Charles "Vic" Nodus, age 74, of Crystal, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at SparrowHospital in Lansing after suffering a heart attack. The son of Joseph & Mary (Krupa) Nodus, he was born on October 31, 1942 in Detroit. For over 40 years, Vic owned and operated Crystal Golf Course, serving as head groundskeeper and jack of all trades. He was also a proud veteran of the Michigan Army National Guard. On April 1, 1977, in Carson City, he married the former Beth McCracken and together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Beth Nodus of Crystal; two daughters, Jane Stockton of Vestaburg, and Marnie & Dean Roestel of Mount Pleasant; three grandsons, Justin Roestel, Carter Roestel, and Dilan Roestel; a brother, Robert Nodus of Crystal; two nieces; and several siblings-in-law. Arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville, honored providers of Veterans Funeral Care.
