Tracey A. Orr, age 41, of Wyoming, lost her battle with addiction on Monday, June 27, 2016. The daughter of Patti L. (Briscoe) & Clarence Orr, she was born on March 15, 1975 in Grand Rapids and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Kuwait & Iraq in the War on Terror.
Tracy was currently employed with Otterly Bros. Food Grade Tank & Truck Wash in Kentwood, enjoyed camping, roller skating, and drawing, and volunteered at Mel Trotter Ministries... but most of all delighted in time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jessica Leigh Wells; her father, Clarence Orr; her step-father, Ovey Lee Curnutt; and her maternal grandmother, Arlene Wright.
Surviving are a daughter, Tricia Wells & Eric Simon of Lyons; a son, Kyle Engle of Howard City; her mother, Patti Curnutt of Trufant; sisters and brothers, Theresa Moore of St. Johns, Timothy & Jenny Curnutt of Trufant, Kayla Curnutt of Stanton, Kevin Brower of Indiana, Samuel Orr & Jennifer Sheetz of Denver, Colorado, Jamie & Amanda Orr, and Russell Orr, all of Tifton, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Ian Macdonald of the First Congregational Church will officiate and burial, with military honors, will follow at Trufant Cemetery.
