Terry Grimwood

Terry Lynn Grimwood, age 63, of Carson City, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. The son of Maxine Eloise (Ward) & Robert Max Grimwood, Sr., he was born on October 29, 1952 in Lansing. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, following his honorable discharge Terry was self-employed as a handyman. A true "jack-of-all-trades", he also enjoyed gardening and watching movies. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Grimwood, Sr. in 2007; and by a brother, Ronald Grimwood in 2002; Surviving are his mother, Maxine Grimwood of Carson City; two brothers, Rev. Dr. Robert "Bob" & Judy Grimwood of Lansing, and Tim & Cheryl Grimwood of Crystal; a sister-in-law, Margaret Grimwood-Bennett of Florida; his step-mother, Irene Grimwood-Borton of Florida; a paternal aunt, Juanita Katzke of Wisconsin; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Hope Church, 5011 Mt. Hope Rd, Carson City, with his brother, Rev. Dr. Robert Grimwood, officiating. Private committal services, with full military honors, will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery near Battle Creek.
