Susan Geselman

Susan Kay Geselman, age 81, of Hubbardston, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. The daughter of Orville Lewis and Lillian Grace (Pierce) LaSarge, she was born on January 28, 1941, in Lansing. On September 24, 1956, in Hubbardston, she married Earl Eugene Geselman, and together they raised three children and enjoyed 64 years of marriage until Gene passed away on December 29, 2020. Susan worked at the former Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons for 12 years until it closed. She was also the Township Treasurer for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed her grandkids and great grandkids and keeping up with their lives. She loved playing cards while camping with the Fishers at Sanderson Lake and winning all the nickels and quarters. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and father and mother-in-law, Arnold Geselman and Ida Isham, her brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Mick LaSarge, her brother-in-laws Lloyd Geselman, Raymond and Becky Geselman. Surviving are her three children, Kenny Geselman, Becky and Doug Proctor, and Kevin and Emily Geselman; six grandchildren, Jeff and Julia Proctor, Breane and Brandon Warner, John and Stephanie Geselman, Caleb (Becca) Geselman, Maria (Ashwin) Geselman, and Gabe Geselman; four great grandchildren, Owen Proctor, Harrison and Cecilia Warner, and Maddix Geselman; siblings-in-law, Larry and Linnea Isham and Rita Gesselman; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors (Diane and Mary), friends, and special friend Millie Fisher. Private graveside services will be held at Westside Cemetery.
