Olie Lee Johnson, age 41, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, July 3, 2021 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Roxanne Lynn (Gibson) & Oliver Lee Johnson, he was born on September 24, 1979 in Greenville.
On August 3, 2013, at Wabasis Park, he married Stacey Lynn Johnson. A skilled carpenter, Olie was self-employed as a building contractor and enjoyed playing softball and shooting guns, but most of all he delighted in time spent with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Stacey Johnson; their children, Alyssa, Jamison, and Dru Johnson, all of Greenville; his father and step-mother, Oliver & Michele Johnson of Greenville; his mother and step-father, Roxanne & Tom Parker of Orleans; brothers and sister, Jeremy Johnson of Orleans, Devin & Tracy Hallengren, Lacey Hallengren, and Ryan Hallengren, all of Greenville; his parents-in-law, Howard & Connie Peterson of Greenville; sisters-in-law, Jeanette & Rich Krause, and Krista & Ben Wood, all of Greenville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Olie's life from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Wabasis Park, 9180 Wabasis Avenue N.E., Greenville, in the enclosed shelter. Instead of flowers, contributions to Stacey and the kids are suggested.
