Nancy Lemons

Nancy Lynn (Plowman) Lemons, age 67, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born on May 17, 1954, in Grand Rapids, to Dale L. Plowman & Francella I. Brown. Nancy married Donald L. Lemons on November 7, 1992. Nancy worked alongside her husband Don in their commercial cleaning company. She enjoyed gardening, coin collecting, her cats as well as other animals. Everyone who met Nancy loved her. She was very compassionate and was always willing to help anyone. Nancy adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Don Lemons; children, Vicki Jo & Dale Bessey and Dennis & May Warner Jr.; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Gabriel, Sierra, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Ryan Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, Izayah, Isaac, Elias, Aleah, Addisyn, Xavier and LIllian; brothers, Dale & Barb Plowman, Roger Plowman, Gary & Vicki Plowman, and Wayne & Kwi Sun Plowman; sisters, Shirley Plowman, and Barbara & Daniel Foster She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Pollie Plowman, and Francella Brown; and daughter, Kyle Rae McGregor; and her mother-in-law, Lillia Lemons-Ross. A gathering will be held at Amvets POST 126, 2929 Marshall Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508 on July 10, 2021 from 1-3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. The family would like to recognize all the staff of St. Mary's H2 unit for their care and support during her stay there.
