Najean Wood

Najean Joy Wood, age 63, of Six Lakes passed away on December 28, 2020 at her home. The daughter of Buhl Ellis & Emogene Arlene (Courser) Loomis, she was born on August 11, 1957 in Alma. Najean was a 1975 graduate of Montabella Community Schools, and had recently retired from the United States Postal Service after over 20 years of mail delivery. Najean enjoyed trips to the casino and had several other interests, but everything about her life was centered on her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports of all kinds, being active in their daily lives, and watching them grow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buhl & Emogene Loomis; an infant son, Jeremy Eugene Buhl "Jeb" Wood; and a brother, Kenny Loomis. Surviving are her special person of twenty years, Pete Donovan; her children, Chara & Chuck Nisonger, Trevor & Heather Wood, and Casey & Kyle Lemons; her grandchildren, Hanna Stockwell, Kendra Stockwell, Cayden Nisonger, Alexys Nisonger, Cameron Nisonger, Makaylynn Wood, Jase Wood, Kyle Lemons II, Lukas Lemons, and one more grandson whom she was very much looking forward to meeting; her siblings, Bev & Roger Bradley, Tom & Connie Loomis, and Ronnie Loomis; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
