Melbadene “Suzi” Kraus (Baker) Obituary (1938 - 2023)

Melbadene "Suzi" Kraus (Baker), 84, of Holland, Michigan died of cancer and went to be with her Lord, surrounded by her friends and family on May 25, 2023. Suzi was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Baker, her sister Wanda, and her brothers James and Warren. She is survived by her two brothers, Allen and Wayne, her husband Mike, her daughter Autumn, her grandchildren Alex and Felicia and great grandchildren Raelyn, Charlie, Natalia and Isabelle. Suzi was a strong woman of faith and known for her close walk with her Lord. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She had a wonderful sense of humor, selfless, always telling stories, generous, kind, and loved others well. Her steadfast love for the Lord shined through her to others. She lived a full life and was greatly loved by her daughter, brothers, husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Suzi was very industrious, owning and operating her own business, Arizona Curtains, for over 40 years. She was faithful to share the Gospel with whomever she had the opportunity and was the head of various Bible studies and women's ministries. She worked as a fragrance model for Dillard Department Store. She also worked as a volunteer with Campus Crusade for Christ for many years and headed up a prison ministry providing Christian books for inmates. However, more recently her greatest love and passion was loving and selflessly caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Suzi was a real treasure and will be greatly missed by all. We rejoice that she has now been welcomed into God's presence and everlasting joy. She is now in her glorious eternal home.
