Mary Hardison

Mary Chrysia (Evans) Hardison, age 80, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born Tuesday, January 25, 1944, in Texas and raised by Glen and Sophie (Cowen) Evans. She worked at multiple companies throughout her career including Wolverine. Mary was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, serving Jehovah was very important to her, witnessing to nurses and doctors up until her death. Mary was married to Steve Hardison for 10 years before he passed away. Survivors include her five children, Eileen Mckissick, Mary (Robert) Marinez, Bessie Eller, Byron (Lori) Worden, and CaraWitt; stepchildren, Jimmy Hardison, PattyWorden Keller, BrianWorden, and Darron Worden; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a great crowd of friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hardison; her parents, Glen & Sophie Evans; sons-in-law, Scott Eller and Tate Mckissick; and grandson, Matthew Eller. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time.
