Mark Davey

Mark Seth Davey, 74, of Sand Lake, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Born on July 8, 1950 in Alma, Michigan to the late Marshall & Marjorie (Fogelsong) Davey, Mark graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1968. He attended computer operations classes at Lansing Community College and became a computer operator at the college. He married Bonnie Groff on December 12, 1992. Upon moving to Grand Rapids Mark was employed in computer operations at Spectrum Health Hospital. Mark loved music and in his teens and twenties played in several local Lansing bands. In his spare time he continued enjoying playing his guitar and writing music. Mark is survived by his wife Bonnie (Groff), his mother Marjorie; his Aunt Mary Lou Foglesong; his sister Marci Van Buren; his nieces Stephanie Gray and Michelle Delaney. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Davey. The family suggests donations be made to Corewell Health Hospice & Pallative Care - West Michigan.
