Leons Brunenavs

Leons Brunenavs, age 85, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids. He was born on May 10, 1939, in Irlava, Latvia, to Emies & Martha Brunenavs. Leons proudly served his country in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of SP5. He was stationed at Fort Bragg and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal before his honorable discharge in 1963. A Committal Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Grand Rapids Veterans Home Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
