Karen Kay (Kissel) Gould, age 66, of Turk Lake, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her son's home in Dimondale. The daughter of Helen T. (Johnson) & Robert V. Kissel, Sr., she was born on May 9, 1949 in Sheridan and was a 1967 graduate of Greenville High School.
For 30 years Karen worked at the Greenville K-Mart, helping set-up and open the store when it came to Greenville and working up until her health prevented from her doing so. She also enjoyed playing cards with her mother and will be long remembered for her cooking and baking talents... especially her lemon pies and cheesecakes, baked beans, and fresh baked rolls. Karen was a long time member of Hope Lutheran Church in Stanton, enjoyed setting up bus trips to the casino's up north, and loved spending time at the Mackinac Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Gould on January 8, 1995; a son, Robert S. Gould on November 16, 1997; and her father, Robert V. Kissel, Sr. on September 7, 2002.
