John Laisure

John Erwin Laisure, Sr., age 62, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home. The son of Dennis Henry & Nila Rae (Kronewitter) Laisure, he was born on March 1, 1958 in Ionia and had worked for Amway in Ada. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, working on cars, bowling,and playing pool, but most of all he loved his family and time spent with them. He was preceded in death his parents; and a sister, Marion L. Smith. Surviving are his children, Christy & Will Kirkendall of Muskegon; Jessica Laisure of Belding; Joann Laisure of Belding; and John E. & Joyce Laisure II of Belding; twelve grandchildren, Curtis Kirkendall of Lakeview, Derek Kirkendall of Muskegon, Chelsea Taylor of Belding, Micheal Taylor of Belding, Jordan Peterson of Sand Lake, Dakotah Laisure of Belding, Markus Laisure of Belding, Angel Laisure of Belding, Olivia Laisure of Belding, Kenny Laisure of Belding, Mason Robertson of Belding, and Josiah Laisure of Belding; a brother, Dennis H. Laisure, Jr. of Greenville; a sister, Edith Laisure of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
