Emery Duane Jones Obituary (1942 - 2019)

Emery Duane Jones, age 77, of Delton, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, with his wife by his side. He was born on April 7, 1942, in Hastings, to the late Emery & Mary Leone (Wolff) Jones. Duane married Elaine Royle on August 21, 1970. He was a skilled worker and his work ethic was admired by many. Duane enjoyed anything electric or mechanical. He was very handy and could repair and refurbish many projects. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Jones; daughter, Lorraine (Austin) Ferris; son, Shane E. Jones; grandsons, Justin Ferris, Joshua and Dustin Jones; and extended family members, Debbie Jo Jones and Jonny Hartman. He is preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Thompson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Revive Bible Church, 12711 M-43, Delton, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for care of the funeral or to the Delton Lions Club. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
