Ding Cheng Obituary (1926

Mr. Ding Cheng, age 82, of Belmont, formerly of San Francisco, California, died late Friday evening, March 6, 2009 at the Laurels of Kent, Lowell. Born on April 14, 1926 in Canton, China, Ding emigrated from Hong Kong to America in 1971. In San Francisco he worked for as a cook and in restaurant management. He was preceded in death by a son, Ming Cheng. Survivors include a son, Michael (Donna) Cheng of Belmont; a daughter, Susie (Charles) Ho of Walnut Creek, California; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Honoring Ding's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family remembrance will take place.
