David Shull

David Earl Shull, age 73, of Gowen, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 with his family by his side at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids. The son of Claude E. & Dora (Schultz) Shull, he was born on March 14, 1945 in Lansing. On November 3, 1984 in Lansing, he married Roxanne Smythe, and together they enjoyed over 34 years of marriage. He enjoyed restoring antique outboard motors, walleye fishing and camping. For the last twenty five years, Dave worked for Sports Specialists, selling fishing tackle to various bait shops throughout Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Delores Reed. Surviving are his wife, Roxanne; six children, Darcey & Rick Reed, David Pike, Tod Shull, Tim Shull, Troy Shull, and Terry Shull; eight grandchildren, Ashley Bessette, Shelby & Cody Beaman, Brenner Reed, Kody Pike, Kyler Pike, Sophie Shull, Shelby Shull, and Ariel Shull; one great-grandchild, Bowen Beaman; his fishing partner, John Andree; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
