Dale Vanorden

Dale William VanOrden, age 80, of Vestaburg, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at home under the loving care of his family and Mid-Michigan Home Care & Hospice. The son of Edward & Eva Irene (Wallace) VanOrden, he was born at home on August 23, 1934 in Chippewa Township, Isabella County. For over 60 years Dale was self-employed as a farmer. On May 31, 1986, in Crystal, he married the former Edith Rosetta Forist, who preceded him in death on July 22, 2000. Survivors include two step-daughters, Susan Brechting of Vestaburg and Linda Burkett of Crystal, and their families. Honoring Dale's wishes, no formal services will he held and he will be buried beside his late wife in Crystal Township Cemetery.
