Christine Richardson

Christine "Chris" Richardson, age 63, of Grand Rapids died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, October 30, 2021. She was born June 16, 1958, in Grand Rapids, to the late Stanley and Rosemary Wasko. Chris married Edward Richardson in April of 1985; together they share 4 children. Chris enjoyed cooking, camping, and gardening her flowers, she could always grow something out of nothing. She will be remembered by her children, Jessie (Justin) Brunink, Abby (Noe Castaneda), Rudy (Jessica) Richardson, and Jenna (Jessie Sutton) Richardson; grandchildren, Eviana, Asher, Benton, Weston, Colton, Cameron, Isaiah, and Merritt; sister, Mary Sue Pelak; brother, Mike Wasko; her longtime partner, Christopher Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Kosciuszko Hall located at 935 Park Street S.W., Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
