Carol Ann Geer, 73, of Greenville passed away on November 4, 2020 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids with her family by her side. The daughter of Donald Carl & Betty Rae (Brandt) Styes, she was born on February 11, 1947 in Highland Park. On June 10, 1968, in Brighton, she married David Allen Geer, and together they had 52 years of marriage and raised three children. Carol worked in healthcare at United Memorial Hospital in Greenville for over 20 years. She began her career as a nurses aide and worked her way into different positions - emergency room ward secretary, billing clerk and retired from the scheduling department. Carol enjoyed crafting and reading, but especially delighted in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Dave; their children, Dawn Geer & her significant other, Craige Halladay, Randy & Courtney Geer, and Dennis & Julie Geer; six grandchildren, Lydia, Kiersten, Tyler, Andrew, Catie, and Charlie; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Lily, and Annabelle; her siblings, Kenny & Tina Styes, Karol Burden, and Debbie Marshall; her mother-in-law, Eleanor Geer-Peake; her siblings-in-law, Dan Geer, and Diane & Mike Parkhill; her former daughter-in-law and friend, Denise Hammond; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Carol's life from 11-2 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her daughter Dawn's, home, 5111 S. Johnson Road Greenville.
