Carl L. Jones Obituary (1950 - 2024)

Carl Lawrence Jones, age 74, of Trufant, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 at home under the loving care of his wife and West Michigan Hospice. The son of Cecil James & Cecele Adah (Graves) Jones, he was born on October 22, 1950 in Greenville. A decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam War, Carl served honorably with the United States Army, attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Combat Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Sharpshooter’s and Expert Marksmanship Badges on the M-16 Rifle. On August 17, 1996, he married Andrea Jan Cole and together they enjoyed 28 years of marriage. Carl last worked for Abe Hatt Construction. Honoring Carl’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned.
