Alice Zainea

September 1, 1941 — March 31, 2020

Alice Jane Zainea, age 78, passed away and entered into eternal life with her Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020 at Mission Point of Greenville. The oldest of four children born to Fredrick & LaVerne (Kuhn) Wells, she was born on September 1, 1941 in Springfield, Massachusetts. When she lived in San Antonio, Texas, she was actively involved in her church, Faith Based Institute. She managed the church's substance abuse rehabilitation home for women and had also worked for 15 years as a quality control supervisor at Leon Plastics Inc. and Miller Metals Inc. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and golfing in her younger years, but found her greatest joy in time spent with her family. She was preceded by her parents; a brother, Eugene "Joe" Wells; and a sister, Maryanne Keeler. Surviving are her children, Michelle Rudy of Wyoming, Eugene & Lisa Zaniea of New Era, Daniel Zainea of New Era, Annette McKnight of Marne, and Susan Caswell of Greenville; and a sister, Doris Wheeler of Missouri. Alice was also blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Contributions in Alice's memory may be directed to the Recreation Department at Mission Point of Greenville, 828 E.
